Newsies , memories and the despiracy of societal programming

It's for the best I've been told. And the ones that told me that also said it's for the best I don't understand it, or it won't work. So I'm dangerous to what I'm doing and I need to warn everyone.

Newsies , memories and the despiracy of societal programming
It literally looks like a square sink too...

Let’s kick today off with a few news-oids, before we dive into the societal programming paradigm. Which we all love to dig deep into for all kinds of conspiracy theories and fears, but then also use personally to escape into.

You can’t get much more western european than Belgium can you?

Squished in between all the major empires of the past, that were all conquering the world, untill it became the headquarters of places like Swift that runs almost all financial transactions, Nato that tells all the soldiers where to go and the EU that handles trade.

And in that little country compromise conglomerate multi-lingualed federation of different states that are also a monarchy but surely democratic , there is something hilarious happening every day.

After concluding this years policital year, it’s time for vacation and just before they all left for those holidays after cutting a lot of major social support services and removing a lot of guard-rails for exploitation to save costs…
And defining rules to throw more unemployed people off of support services…
All was well , and the government did a good job. Time for Ice-cream.

And then today it turns out that they also decided to increase tax rates on everyone who’s out of a job.

So not only can these changes only lead to more unemployement , because that’s just a fact you first needed to accept.

The country now also removes social support services faster , because that’s just a fact you first needed to accept.

And for anyone out of a job, the government will now ask them to pay more taxes because that’s just a fact they need to accept.

Meanwhile in the UK, with a capital called London which isn’t really part of the country since the King of the Kingdom has to ask permission to the Mayor of London to even be allowed to come into the city… there is a bit of discussion going on about the British empire’s role in a place called Palestine, which was a territory that used to belong to that empire. Or so they said, but the people living there never really agreed to that.
In a way… the simplest way to summarize the ongoing news regarding the British and the middle-east would be to just watch the movie Lawrence of Arabia..

and then just every day say to yourself : “Today in the news : [play any random scene from the movie]”. Since all those things are going on there since then, and still today , and all at the same time. It’s always a winner.

But there in the center of the old british empire there is this nice little piece of prozak called this.

North Korea’s military is being transformed on the battlefields of Ukraine – so why is Seoul silent? | North Korea | The Guardian

The news reports about things called “Bio-robots” on the battlefield of Ukraine, supplied by North-Korea in Russia’s war where China has a strong cooperation with.

A few little tidbits from that article.

“We were shocked by them. They were bio-robots. They tried to kill themselves by biting their own veins,” Skibitskyi says. When one was asked if he wanted to return home, he replied: “Yes, because I will be treated like a hero. I fought in a modern war.”

“Defence officials are particularly wary after December’s events,” Yang said, referring to the failed declaration of martial law by South Korean’s then president, Yoon Suk Yeol. “They’re really afraid of political attack and prefer to stay unseen by the public and press.”

Economic factors weigh heavily too. Prewar, Russia was one of South Korea’s top trading partners. Amid Donald Trump’s tariff threats, the new Lee Jae Myung government’s focus on economic recovery and “pragmatic diplomacy” leaves little appetite for confrontation.

“We definitely should be alarmed,” says Chun In-bum, a former South Korean special forces commander. “But it’s just the nature of people to avoid catastrophe or be indifferent to the terrors of reality.”

So that was a fascinating little summary of basically the exact same situation that existed since Lawrence left Arabia , but then somewhere else and with new toys.

So that little soap series is also going along nicely “stable” in a “modern” way.

And in the American news, it’s always important to report daily on what sort of “trends” the Asian world is going through to try and predict and inform the people honestly and truthfully about what’s going on over there, since that’s just really difficult to tell right?

Meet China’s young ‘rat people’ who burrow in bed to avoid stresses of life | CNN

Which a nice story ,told by a chinese reporter explaining very excitedly with a broad smile how thousands of young chinese people spend their lives drowizly sleeping through the day to then spend the entire night blinking at their cellphones talking to eachother how to behave like a rat in a cage, and if anyone in that group shows any other kind of behaviour they are critisized heavily for that.

So those are just a few example, snatched in seconds from a thing we call the news through the internet.

This reminds me a lot of an expirement that was conducted in 1986 by this cute little fella. So just to remind you… this was 2 years after 1984. (Somehow I also remember that for some strange reason ;) )

John B. Calhoun - Wikipedia

And boy did he have fun with rodents. He used to make “universes” for them , and his most famous universe was universe 25.

“Each side had four groups of four vertical, wire mesh "tunnels". The "tunnels" gave access to nesting boxes, food hoppers, and water dispensers. There was no shortage of food or water or nesting material. There were no predators. The only adversity was the limit on space.”

File:CalhounJ.JPG

And we’ll give you a few tidbits from that wonderfull “news” article from over 40 years ago now. The main “theory” that these experiments revolved around were called…

Behavioral sink - Wikipedia

“Initially, the population grew rapidly, doubling every 55 days. The population reached 620 by day 315, after which the population growth dropped markedly, doubling only every 145 days. The last surviving birth was on day 600, bringing the total population to a mere 2200 mice, even though the experiment setup allowed for as many as 3840 mice in terms of nesting space.”

“After day 600, the social breakdown continued and the population declined toward extinction. During this period females ceased to reproduce. Their male counterparts withdrew completely, never engaging in courtship or fighting and only engaging in tasks that were essential to their health. They ate, drank, slept, and groomed themselves – all solitary pursuits. Sleek, healthy coats and an absence of scars characterized these males. They were dubbed "the beautiful ones". Breeding never resumed and behavior patterns were permanently changed.”

“In the experiments in which the behavioral sink developed, infant mortality ran as high as 96 percent among the most disoriented groups in the population”

“The conclusions drawn from this experiment were that when all available space is taken and all social roles filled, competition and the stresses experienced by the individuals will result in a total breakdown in complex social behaviors, ultimately resulting in the demise of the population”

And that all has absolutely no relation whatsoever with what happened between the old and the new empires and what’s been going on in the meantime, ever since the old empires were forced out of a few of their colonies right?

And it’s obviously completely and very different on of the 3 other sides out there and it’s much better here, then it is there and we’re sure that we just have to keep believing without understanding it since that’s just what it is, and it starts with accepting that before we can continue a polite and pleasant conversation.

Would you like some ice-cream to go with that by the way?

And the reason I’m writing this article is to try and get more people to see a certain pattern in this.

And we all know it, but can’t explain it… so tend to just accept something you don’t quite understand. But noone wants to admit that to another individual , and well… there’s ice-cream whenever we want, so all good.

But that pattern doesnt come from something higher though. Those rats in that experiment where only given what our little friend John thought they wanted or needed.

That universe he created for them was obviously a prison. But a prison without guards, and a lot of ice-cream. And it’s perfectly normal to project what happens then ofcourse. And calling something like that “Giving them everything they wanted” , is really a sick way of looking at that isn’t it?

Some people would look at that experiment as a warning of what to look out for when it comes to trying to do better.

But for a rodent that’s actually in that universe…

that has completely accepted already that he can’t go anywhere else anyways….
(Which is obviously the case… what are those mice going to do against good old John there?)

From the perspective of that rodent…

That can only be perceived as an excuse to do even more of it.

It’s like a predicition that lands as an instruction.

It’s a piece of code that actually programmes that behaviour.

And that rodent is actually asking for that…

because what else is there in his universe that could ever make sense?

I’m curious what you remembered when you watched the news today?

And do you also remember that this newsletter has clearly described actionable and concrete plans to turn that whole pony show that literally actually looks like a square sink around?

But sadly… all the mice are too busy finding ice-cream , since it’s silly season and it’s almost over , so we have to make sure to splurge and binge on it now, or the ice-cream might go away.

I’m handing out free hugs to anyone who managed to read this far ;)

And if you need a quick video to calm your nerves while searching for ice-cream… here’s a good one!
