Lenses : You've got at least one right? Let's pick up Bloombergs just for fun.

When was the last time you really took some time to figure out what people believe in and why? Really trying to understand them?

It's nickname = "The terminal"

And maybe you know this, maybe you don't. Maybe you think this is obvious, maybe you don't.

But all these busy places with a lot of people being really busy talking and publishing and shaping and selling advertising around the topic of a lot of busy people being very busy with talking about problems. You know what I'm talking about right? :)

They all have a thing called... "The Terminal" . And on that terminal is a continuous livestream of information called "This is what's actually happening and nothing else matters". After which a lot of busy talking about that commences. Continuously.

This terminal is an expensive service for a multidimensional TV delivered by a company called Bloomberg.

These days we talk a lot with a lot of people with obviously different viewpoints on certain things you might mistake as general accepted fact.

Recent events on the global stage are all pointing to a meeting after the holidays to go talk about things urgently.

A "trade deal" can these days be made by advertising the intent to advertise for something without having direct control over the end result but the most hopeful projection we can think of will be considered fact for the sake of argument.

And in some places horrible things happen too.

And when you pick up Bloombergs's lens of their opinion... then this is what you see.

That's kind of like the jist of things, about what a lot of busy people will be thinking about on their holiday this year, as they contemplate existence and think of good things for all while sipping a mai-tai.

Hopefully...

right?

It's just tiny little tidbits like this that gently motivate us to sort of take it as a cue that working on supporting our institutions from the bottom up with better solutions is something worthwhile to be busy with, one way or another.

And it can even be an enormously fun and rewarding thing to do. Not to mention the actual results in actual reality that can then be enjoyed continuously as the result of it.

Sort of beats listening to the next episode of the dance of 17 monkeys, and it beats trying to escape it too. So you can't lose. 😄

Have a great weekend!
